My Lovely Friends,

Wednesday 21 April 2010

hello,

Hi peeps, yes it’s me again lol, just can’t keep me away from here, I have made this card for a friend who needs cheering up, so I hope she likes it, the weather here has gone so cold it’s been lovely to craft and get out of the freezing wind, well that's my excuse any way lol,

I’m entering this for the following challenge~ Magnolia Down Under~ Masking,

Well I certainly did some masking, I masked the latest Tilda from the spring collection so she is behind Sweet Tilda who I must say is one of my favourites, she’s so adorable, then when I had done that I masked the trailing flowers and then I masked the Grass and butterflies at the bottom, I was nervous when I got to the last bit as I thought don’t spoil it now lol,

P1010858I’ve coloured the image with Copics, and added lots of Star Dust Stickles, her shoes have had glossy accents added to them to look like patent leather again you can’t tell off my photo, but it is there, has anybody got any tips on how to see this on camera lol, and I have distressed the edges of my papers with scissors, love doing this at the moment,

P1010859I have added pearl dots which I saw on Kim’s blog and thought it looked gorgeous so thanks very much for for the inspiration,

Items used~ Copics, Star Dust Stickles, Magnolia Images~ Tilda’s, Grasses, Trailing Magnolias, Magnoli papers~ Dots and quilts, silver liquid pearl, memento ink pads~ black, grey and Brown, Small and medium blue half pearls~Basic Grey,Martha Stewart Butterfly punch,Doily,Roses from stash,Woodware fern Punch,

I decided to have my main image on a slant I hope this doesn’t make both Tilda’s  look off balance, they are straight honest, lol,

I will be at work when this comes on my blog, well I hope it does lol,

Well all for now, thanks for visiting, hugs Liz xx

I’m entering this into Crafting Lifes Pieces Challenge~ Sketch, and Magnolia Stamp Lovers~ The colour Purple,

For my card I have used a fab sketch over on CLP, I’ve tweaked it a bit as I usually do lol, the images are both Magnolia sent to me as a RAK from my lovely friend Mandy, thanks so much hun, they are coloured in Copics and her shoes have glossy accents on them, makes them look like patent leather not that you can see it off my photo’s ( back to the practising again ) lol,
