Sent with love

Hi guys, hope your all having a gorgeous Bank Holiday weekend, we have actually had a couple of days of sun!!!! yes I did say that, sun!!!, I'd forgotten what it looked like, lol
I was told to get some sun on my bones for the tablets I'm on, so it was on medical orders that I just had to sit outside didn't I ?????

Anyway enough jabber from me he he, I'm showing you a card I've made with an Old Letter Rose stamp 2 from Noor, designed by the  Jolanda,  I saw it on Facebook and just had to have it, wow  it's so adorable, I so love postage stamps and this combo is perfect, they do others too and the are gorgeous too,

I've used distress inks  re-inkers and distress ink markers for this one, I have made another in other colours too but that's for a DT card coming soon, so watch this this space lol,
I printed out two of the postcard stamps then layered them and thought the Tim Holtz antique pen nib went brill with it too,
the gorgeous lace is from Live and love crafts,
I frantaged the edges of the postcards and did the metal butterfly too,
Papers are from the Prima Romance Novel from the lovely Teresa at my crafty heart, though I can't find it now sorry, but do check out her other  products, which are gorgeous,
To finish off I've used a metal corner from live and love crafts too and a doily which I've distressed, a Tim Holtz film strip and some pearl strings plus flowers from my stash,

Not sure if it fits any challenges, but if you do know of any please give me a hint lol,

Happy Birthday to you

Hi guys, it's hubby's birthday soon and I just couldn't resist this gorgeous stamp from Lily of the Valley, it's one of the new ones and I bought it from their fabby shop the other week, if you get chance to go to the shop do go, it's well worth it,
they have a monthly challenge  too, which I'm going to enter this in lol,

I've coloured Take it easy with my distress re-inkers and mated it onto kraft card stock,
the fabby papers are from My Crafty Heart and are from the Prima lifetime pad and Almanac pad,  I love how Prima pads go so well together,
The metal corner die and the Joy die bottom left I have added frantage too in aged Ivory, the Joy die 6002/0149 I just cut in card stock first then added my frantage on top then heated and did another layer on top of that, to finish it off I added a brad for a little detail, love how this stuff makes card look like metal lol,

Closer view of Take it easy,

To finish off the card I used some brown and cream bakers twine from the pretty little ribbon shop, which has a closing down sale on too at the moment and I added a clock charm from My Crafty Heart too,

To get hubby to be like this will be a miracle though as he never stops and I'm constantly telling him to have a rest, do you think he may get the hint?!!!!!! lol

Sassy Lady

I'm back today with a card that I've coloured with my copics for a change, while I've been resting I've coloured a few images up depending what mood I was in I chose either distress re-inkers or copics,
I saw a challenge at Saturated Canary with  fab inspiration  for emerald colours and purples, and just couldn't resist having a go lol,

I've used my light box in another place too so hope the piccies are ok,
The papers are a mix of Fairy Belle and some old Basic grey I've had ages, I need to ge myself some papers with a hint of lilac/purple in them as It's not a colourway I have a lot of lol,
The flowers are from my stash and the ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon shop who sadly is closing down, Thanks Sarah I loved being on your Design Team,
Go check out her shop as there is a mega sale on now,

The gorgeous pearl string is from the ribbon girl as is the beaded stem, I will  direct link  the products  I used from My Crafty heart below,

The treatment has made me quite tired and so I have not been blogging much or making cards but I've made this one for My Crafty Heart DT
The gorgeous image is coloured with my distress re-inkers and is so adorable and she's a dream to colour,

The main shape is a Go Kreate die, and I've coloured her in these colours to match n with the fabby papers,
