All the edges are distressed and have vintage photo distress ink added,
Tilda is from the latest collection and  coloured with my distress re-inkers, I added tiny pearl dots coloured with a copic pen for her earrings,

Love is

Hi guys, I'm back today with another creation for Tando Creative,
this time I've used the chipboard and a flourish mask for a card,

The gorgeous Flourish 5 chipboard piece at the bottom is  one of two in the pack, I first painted it with Gesso, then when dry added some script stamping, again when dry i then used embossing powder on the top to give a sheen, it look fabulous in real life, I also did the same for the mini heart at the top left too,
The gorgeous papers are by maja Design from the Summer Crush collection - met her at the dance, the lace is from The Ribbon Girl - Charlotte Elizabeth vintage Lace

closer view of chipboard flourish,

The long flourish mask at the top of my card I made using some grunge paste with the long floursish mask, love this flourish mask it has a 3 different  flourishes on one mask so it's really useful,

Don't forget we have a monthly challenge going over at Tando Creative, just look at the theme you fancy doing and add your project to the July link at the top of the page, for your chance to win some awesome Tando goodies,

Holiday Fun!!!

Hi guys, I've been having a play and come up with a 3D project just for fun, the weather here has been awful so to put me in a summery mood i made this, lol

I took my inspiration from the gorgeous background papers from Maja Design latest Summer Crush collection and also from a wooden Anchor I bought at a craft fair the other month,
I cut out the lighthouse shape from another piece of designer paper I had in my stash, and the clouds dies I shaped slightly, added distress ink to the edges and adhered onto the design with 3D glue to keep the floating effect I wanted,

After asking hubby to cut me some  "do you have any "bits of unwanted wood hanging around" down for the base, I painted it with Gesso then added texture sand on the top, when dry I sprayed it with a couple of distress inks to get the look of sand,
I painted my wooden Anchor with Inka Gold wax in Silver and distressed it lightly with distress ink too, I added a brad with the back cut off for a little metal look detail and then a bit of twine, I wanted Tilda to sit on it so didn't need to add anything more to it,
Behind Tilda is a Magnolia fence stamp which is again coloured with DI'S and fussy cut out then I took some Mulberry Bark and stained it with green distress ink to look like seaweed, you can also see some on the right hand side at the back,
At the very back I made a couple of wave effects using a Tim Holtz on the edge die and some more Maja Design paper, this I edged with picket fence crackle paint to give the illusion of surf,
The middle section is made up of a Tando creative house which was left over from another project I did a few months back, this is apinted with acrylic paint and hints of crackle paint too,
I took a couple of shell stamps again by magnolia, folded some watercolour paper in half, stamped the shape up to the fold, cut them out, distress coloured the insides and back then folded it in half and glued down on top of a pearl to look like an oyster shell, you can make one of them out on the right front, the others hidden behind Tilda!!!
Some sea shells from my stash, Tim Holtz film strip, flowers from the Ribbon Girl and a camera die cut out of the reverse Maja design paper used at the back, finishes it off,

Challenges
Magnolia-licious - Anchors Aweigh
Tilda's Town - Anything goes
Magnolia mania - pimp something - A piece of wood

Hope you like my summery project,

I've again used the gorgeous Heart Painted Papers by Lemon Craft, so love these papers, all distressed on the edges and inked with vintage photo distress ink,

It's hard to photograph, but I've used a lot of the chipboard pieces available from Scrap And Craft too and I just added a hint of distress ink here and there,

Soar Free

Hi guys, this is my first DT post for
Tando Creative, whoop whoop!!
The theme is anything goes, I have altered a Mini Printer Tray with cover,

This is the cover, which I painted first with white Gesso, then some crackle paint here and there for added texture, when this was dry I took a flourish mask and using Grunge paste stenciled the design onto the front, when dry I coloured the cover and mask with distress inks and Inka Gold waxes,

For the tray section I used two of the three sectioned layers so I could add some embellishments with depth and of course I have the other one for another time,
Again I used the Inka Gold waxes on the frame, I distressed some water colour paper with distress inks, stamped some  Lily of The Valley stamps on top from my stash, then cut the sections down to fit, I distressed the edges with ink and my distress tool too, then I added some metal pieces and some more gorgeous Tando chipboard Mini music and Leaves 1,

The lace is from The Ribbon Girl and the flowers are from Sweet Lilac,

The challenge theme this month is
Celebration

I finished off the card with a beautiful Petaloo textured bloom, (so love the colours on this), some shabby ribbon, brads, Butterfly and another chip board piece for the Happy Birthday again, edged in vintage photo distresss ink,
